Leakage Current Tester

leakage current tester is mainly used to test the leakage action current, leakage non-action current and leakage action time of the leakage protector. The test current is 0-1000 mA divided into 10 separations, and the time test range is 0-799 ms,16 bit character blue screen liquid crystal display. The tester is hand-held, small, light and easy to carry. It is the best test instrument for field or indoor detection of various leakage protectors.

1.Disassemble the load lead of the leakage protector to prevent damage to the load side appliance.

2.Press the red button at the top right of "on / off" to connect the power supply to the `of the instrument.  The red indicator 30mA will be on at the upper left and the LCD screen will display MANUAL 000ms,(note: MANUAL= manual).

3. Pls kindly check the nameplate of the tested leakage switch(general,for the single-phase two-wires indoor leakage switches, the rated action current =30mA, rated non-action current=15mA,break-time ≤0.1S (≤100mS)).

4.Click the “shift” button, the left vertical row of 10 red indicator lights from top to bottom cycle to light, as mentioned above 30 mA separation, that is, the corresponding red light shining.

5.Insert the red plug of the test table rod into the red seat of the test line and the black plug into the black seat of the ground wire，The other end of the black plug line is a black crocodile clip, which is clamped to the zero line (single phase) or center line (three phase four wire) or ground wire pile on the pile head of the tested leakage protector (three phase three wire).

6.Touch the fire line (220 V) or phase line (three-phase leakage protection) corresponding to the lower pile head of the leakage protector. At this point, the normal leakage protector will trip and break, and the upper LCD screen displays "MANUAL xxxms" at this time(Note: MANUAL= manual, xxx is the breaking time value of the detected leakage protector),Without tripping, the LCD screen will display "MANUAL fault (fault = failure).

7.Check that the measured data whether can meet the values specified on the nameplate.

Press "reset" green button, instrument data to zero, enter the original state of boot, ready for the next test, if you want to continue testing, repeat the above 1-7 items.

This instrument is equipped with "manual / automatic" switch button, the upper LCD screen display "AUTO 000ms (note: AUTO= automatic) is automatic test state. When the" shift "button selected rated action value test, if not tripped, the test value will be automatically increased after 1 second until the leakage protector tripping break, the left vertical red light corresponding to the actual leakage action current value, the upper LCD screen display" AUTO xxxms (xxx is the corresponding current gear action time value).

1.“Test line” and "ground wire" must not be mis-connected, red to red 220 V( fire line) or phase line, black to black grounding pile or zero line, sometimes grounding pile loosening (poor grounding) will also cause test failure, please pay attention to distinguish.

2.Open the “on/off”button,if there happens below phenomena such as the indicator light is darker, there is no display in the LCD screen.it may be caused by insufficient battery. The rear cover of the battery can be removed with a cross screwdriver on the reverse side of the instrument to replace the same type of battery.

3.In the process of use and carrying, it should be handled with care, free from strong bumps, vibrations, falls, and should prevent the erosion of chemical reactants.

4. During the warranty, if the clients find any defective products during the normal use.
